DIH-World project kick-off

On July 10th we participated in the kick-off of a new project, DIH-World. Together with more than 40 partners from different countries we strive to boost the implementation of new technologies in European manufacturing SMEs.

Thus, the main objective of the project is to accelerate the adoption of new technologies in these SMEs, helping them achieve sustainable competitive advantages. In turn, those SMEs will help strengthen DIHs, especially in the underrepresented regions of Europe.

DIH World will contribute to the digital transformation of SMEs, providing them with the know-how, the correct set of tools, efficient technologies, effective methodologies, intelligent investment sources, valuable training assets and, in short, an environment that promotes innovation.

All these resources will counteract the fragmentation of DIHs, helping companies create an environment that strengthens their capacity for collaboration and, therefore, their union. To maintain this business union, it will be essential to maintain good access to technologies, networks, investment and infrastructure.

IoT DIH keeps working so that the technological development of companies will foster the creation of unions, leading to considerable competitive advantages.
