Restoring Spain through the digital transformation.

The digital industry association, Ametic, stresses the importance of the digital transformation for the restoration of Spain after the pandemic. The digital industry will be one of the keys to the recovery of the economy, industry and even some social aspects after Covid-19. Not to mention that it is currently playing a key role in preventing the crisis from worsening.

Several ministers have participated in the Digital Economy and Telecommunications Meeting organized by Ametic which has been held simultaneously in several places.

Due to the great importance of the digital industry for the sustainability of Spain, there has been increasing demand for professionals in the digital sector. The sector has countless applications, which is why this meeting took a multidisciplinary approach, addressing the use of technology in health, tourism, security, sustainable mobility, the agri-food sector, and the digitalization of SMEs and public administration.

At the core of all these areas is industry 4.0 and digital innovation, thanks to which entrepreneurs can give free rein to their talent by digitalizing industrial processes. 5G and Blockchain are also involved in this digital revolution of the industry, opening up new possibilities for growth and they these technologies will also help to restore things to normal after Covid-19.
