IoT and blockchain logistics
The society has changed and with it our consumer habits. Today's consumer is accustomed to immediacy and usually has a range of options to choose from, enabling them to get what they want and when they want, so manufacturers must create efficient solutions to meet the demand.
In this regard, new technologies have become the great ally of industrial logistics, many companies have embarked on this modality and the Internet of Things (IoT) is one of the most used alternatives, both for merchandise control, fleet tracking and a large amount of data that contributes to decision making.
Such a large amount of data may lead to many challenges, which the blockchain is capable of solving, such as the decentralization of information, as well as the ability to authenticate, authorize and validate the data generated by connected devices, also allowing to keep track of the origin and transportation of products from start to finish, creating an unalterable register.
