Presentation of IoT Digital Innovation Hub at the 4th meeting of the Working Group on Digital Innovation Hubs in Brussels.

Our IoT Digital Innovation Hub (DIH) has made a new step towards its development thanks to its introduction in Brussels (4th meeting of the Working Group on Digital Innovation Hubs) by Juan Manuel Corchado, director of IoT Digital Innovation Hub.

This project has been created to provide groundbreaking projects with the most advanced technologies. Our aim is to promote new products and services, which have been designed by combining innovative techniques from a range of disciplines (Artificial Intelligence, Disruptive ICT, Edge Computing, Fog Computing, Blockchain, Industry 4.0, Smart Cities, among others). IoT DIH is an exciting project that aims to offer SMEs the tools to develop digital skills and help them to carry out the digital transformation. This objective fits perfectly with some of the most important topics that are treated at these conferences in Brussels. The 4th meeting on DIH has also served to learn about the European Union's financing plans and programmes and start to set up several consortia with the attendances and stakeholders.

The support of the Institute for Business Competitiveness (ICE) of the Junta de Castilla y León, who also promotes the Development of DIH in our region, has been essential to be present in these days.

The main aspects that were discussed in these sessions included:

  • Experience in digital skills training for employees of SMEs.
  • The learning contents, the catalogue of training materials and possible ways of sharing
  • The next EU budget and future investments in the digital sector and the benefits they will bring to the centers of operation.

Thanks to our IoT Digital Innovation Hub we are ready to achieve the Horizon Europe challenges, as well as contacting and working with all those who want to collaborate with us to use our services.
