SURE5.0 organizes an information day on the Acceleration Program 1

SURE5.0 is organizing the third information day to answer questions about Acceleration Program 1. The Program started in mid-December 2022 with the aim of supporting SMEs that need to adopt technologies or services for their 5.0 transition.

SURE5.0 is a consortium formed by 11 partners from 8 different countries (Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Austria, Ireland, Estonia and Greece). This group has the perfect mix of cluster organizations, RTOs, universities and business innovation centers, able to offer high-level cross-border expertise.

Next Thursday, 16 February at 10:00 am, the third Information Day will be held via Zoom. The session aims to encourage all companies that wish to benefit from the Acceleration Program to attend and learn about the benefits of this initiative.

Those interested in attending the session should register here. Companies that are unable to attend can watch the recording of the first Information Day on the SURE5.0 YouTube channel.

Benefits of the acceleration program

The SURE5.0 project, is financed with European funds under the Horizon Europe program, whose objective is to support SMEs in three relevant European industrial ecosystems (mobility, transport and automotive; aerospace and defense; and electronics) to advance in their digital transformation process. To this end, the project will encourage the integration of advanced technologies, as well as the consideration of social innovation practices that facilitate both their digital and green transition.

During the project, two acceleration programs will be launched, allocating more than EUR 2.6 million in funds to SMEs. By applying to these open calls, the selected SMEs may benefit from:

  • 5.0 individual valuations and tailored partner services valued at €10,000
  • 50,000 of equity-free financing to implement their 5.0 transition plan.

The first phase for submitting applications is open until 1 March 2023. The SMEs selected in this first phase will be eligible to apply for the second phase, and have the opportunity to obtain the funding.
