The Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI) has published the new conditions of the CIEN Program, which finances large R & D projects carried out by business consortiums in strategic areas of the future and with potential for international projection. One of the great novelties is that from now on it becomes an open call, that is, proposals can be presented at any time. However, CDTI sets 2 annual cut-off dates to evaluate the projects (April and September of each year). The next cut-off date will be the 1st week of September, although it is very important to note that the deadline for submission of proposals is next June 30. According to the latest information, confirmed by CDTI, June 30 has been set as the end of the deadline for receipt of files with the intention of facilitating possible corrections during the month of July and being able to begin the final evaluations in the first week of September ( established as cutoff date).
